Fruit Soup Recipe

Ingredients:
1 Cup Pearl Tapioca
7 Cups water
8 oz. package mixed dried fruit
8 oz. package dried prunes
1 Cup sugar
cinnamon - to taste


Preparation:
Soak the tapioca overnight in the water in a kettle. Place over low heat and add the remaining ingredients - simmer until the pearls of tapioca are transparent. Serve hot.

This is an old family recipe. Great with toast for lunch. I also like it when there is just a little bit of white left in the tapioca pearls - gives them a little texture.
